Tribute to Lori
I was a resident of 2150 Haseltine Rd. from 2012-2015. Lori was among the group of residents who made me feel welcome living in that condo building. This group of friends formed a very special bond that we carry to this day. We had many laughs together & kept closely in touch making sure that everyone was ok. This wonderful group of friends used to play cards, botchy ball, bingo, every week. Lori & I also used to do mall walking at the Vic mall most mornings. When I decided it was time for me to move to another place, she was the one who suggested that I should check into a new building project happening on University Park Dr. And that’s where I ended up moving to. Even after I moved, the group of friends continued our weekly card games & other activities, including watching Rider games together in the common room. This group of friends also came to my new place for a house warming party, & I continued visiting them at the condo. In particular, Lori & her neighbour Carol kept in touch with me quite regularly.
The last time I talked with her was when my wife & I had hoped to go see her after she came home from the hospital. But she said she wasn’t well enough yet for company. Shortly after that Carol called to tell us that Lori had passed. Our heart-felt condolences go to Lori’s family. We will truly miss this dear friend!
Rest in peace, Lori.

I remember all the good times camping, sitting by the fire at Candle Lake, Water hen, and Loon Lake. Seeing your parents in Tisdale and Saskatoon. Your Mom was always kind and full of smiles. So many memories of the times we all spent together growing up.
My deepest condolences to you, Miles, and your family.
