I was perhaps 6 when I first recall meeting your Dad - it was as Santa at the Officers' annual Christmas Dinner - with you Mom as Mrs. Claus, of course - but I think your parents likely knew me from the time I was born. We also lived on the same street when I was very young.
His gentleness, soft voice, the way he came so close to you when he spoke - like he was sharing a secret only you two could know - and his snowy beard made him the perfect character to bring the anticipation and Christmas joy to me and so many young hearts in the Officers' Mess. For nearly forty years he filled that role for all the army kids, and I am so grateful we knew him and your Mom. The only Santa in my heart IS your Dad, and I will think about both your parents every time we celebrate Christmas.
I wish you all love, and memories of good times together. I know we will be sharing those memories of your parents together, too.

Dear Margarita and Shem,
We wanted to reach out to share how much Adrien meant to us. Over the past ten years, we cherished countless hours visiting and chatting with him, always looking forward to our weekly coffee shop meetings in Regina. Adrien’s intelligence and incredible politeness were qualities we admired deeply, and his conversations were always a delight. He shared his knowledge so generously, making each encounter a highlight of our week.
Adrien’s influence on us goes beyond fond memories; he is truly responsible for helping us improve our French, a gift for which we are eternally grateful. His patience and dedication in teaching us were as remarkable as his kindness, leaving a lasting impact on our lives.
Please know that Adrien’s legacy lives on in our hearts. His warmth, wisdom, and gentle spirit will always be cherished, and we feel blessed to have known him.
With deepest sympathy and gratitude,
Dwayne Walter & Anwei Kuang

Unfortunately I was in Kenya during the service and will remain here as per his wishes. Although I never got to see him play he will always be my favourite rugby player. May he rest well.

Margaret and Shem. We were so saddened to hear of your Dad’s passing. I so enjoyed working with him at the Regina Community Clinic and still use some of his jokes and sayings to this day! He was one of the good ones. May fond memories bring you comfort in the days ahead!Myrna and Jim Williams
