Obituary of Robert Alan Joorisity

It is with sadness that the family of Robert Joorisity announce his passing on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at the age of 72 years. Robert is survived by his brother Michael; niece Karen; nephew Wes (Sue) and their children Alice and Nicholas; sister-in-law Shirley (Keith) all of Calgary, AB; as well as numerous family and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Julie; father Robert Sr.; brother Terry; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Robert and Mike were best friends. They travelled to several provinces and states and their favourite vacation was a week-long stay in Las Vegas. Special thanks to the Oncology Team at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre and to the nurses at Pasqua Hospital Ward 5D. Also, a huge thank you to Robert's special friends Ellen Lehr, and Ken & Karen Gienow.

No funeral service will be held per Robert’s request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, if you wish, to the Canadian Cancer Society, cancer.ca, or a charity of your choice.
