Obituary of Chris Cappo

Christopher Scott Cappo

April 1, 1981 – September 7, 2024

It is with sadness that the family of Chris Cappo announce his passing on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the age of 43.

Chris is survived by his spouse, Kelly Desjarlais; children Kaitlyn, Rebecca, Christopher and Calvin; mother/aunt Joan Kaiswatum; sisters Lyndel (Clinton), Brianna (Dallas), Tristan and Lauryn (Spencer); aunts Maxine and Mindy; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Germaine Cappo; brother Chance Cappo; grandparents Sam & Alice Cappo; Kokum Ida Desjarlais; dad/uncle Brian Cappo; and great-grandparents Charlotte & Felix Sugar.

Chris had a love of hockey, hunting and camping. He loved his children with all his heart.

Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Piapot Band Hall, Piapot First Nation, SK. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024 at the same location with Elders officiating. Interment to follow at Muscowpetung Cemetery.
