Obituary of Marcel Maurice Henry Geddes

It is with sadness that the family of Marcel Geddes announce his passing on August 30, 2024 at the age of 41 years.

Marcel is survived by his wife Cheyene Eashappie; children Kashten, Erian, Erin (Tanner), Kylen, La-tayah, Kale, Darcy and Jimmy-Madon; stepchildren Austin (Tayah), Ethan (Lea) Casper (Lysandra) and Junior; grandmother Helen (Fred); father Garry Eashappie (Sandi); sisters Sheila (Terry), Shelley and Tanis (Larson); brother Anthony; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Fred and Rachel Geddes; paternal grandfather Elmer Eashappie Sr.; mother Brenda Geddes; brother Rodney Geddes; sister Monica Geddes; and grandchildren Rosalie May Whitestar and Darrius Geddes.

Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at George Gordon Old Gym, George Gordon First Nation, SK. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 6, 2024 at the same location, with Knowledge Keeper Shaun Assoon Sr. officiating.
