Obituary of Amber Dawn Robson
Amber Dawn Robson was brought into this world in May of 1987 by her loving mother Tammy MacDonald and Amber’s father Doug Robson. It was soon only Amber and Tammy together. As a single mother, Tammy provided love enough for three parents. After Tammy and Amber moved back to Regina from BC, Tammy’s mother and father Marg and Mac MacDonald helped raise Amber into the strong, beautiful, smart and compassionate woman that Amber became to be. Amber’s uncle Allan and his wife Aunty Lisa and their son Layne along with Amber’s Aunt Heather and Uncle Don were also there for Amber whenever she may need anything. Kelly Miller came into Amber’s life in August 2002 when Tammy and Kelly became a couple. This added another person with reciprocal love with Amber. In 2006, Amber’s long time wish of having a baby brother was realized with the birth of her brother Ace. Amber and Ace had a closeness in their sibling relationship that one would not have thought considering there is a 19-year age gap between them. Amber would have gone to the ends of the earth for her brother. The most extraordinary relationship Amber had however was with her mother. The absolute closeness of Amber and Tammy’s relationship was an unbreakable bond beyond reproach. Throughout Amber’s life, they were not only mother/daughter but also the best of friends.
In addition to her family, Amber had three very close friends that she held close to her heart and called them “her people”. These three special people in Amber’s life are Jason and Catherine and her wife Lea. Amber also had other friends but of special mention are her cousin Sandra whom she very much respected and who served as a bit of a role model for her and also her three special aunties Linda, Kim and Barb whom she met later in life.
Amber was also very close to her work family. Her boss and friend, Mark and Amber had an understanding between them that was more than just boss and employee. The rest of her co-workers were her extended family and she would light up with laughter telling us stories of work and funny things that had happened that day.
Amber’s dog, Hudson, was also a very large part of her world of whom she loved unconditionally. Amber unfortunately had to experience the loss of losing this loving soul only weeks before her own life was taken.
Therefore, it was a shock to all the people that loved her that she was so brutally taken from us on the evening of August 23rd 2024. She will always be remembered as the Fierce, Vibrant, Strong and Compassionate person she was. There will forever be a huge void in the many people’s lives that she touched.
Amber is survived by her mother Tammy MacDonald, stepfather Kelly Miller, brother Ace Miller, grandma Margaret MacDonald, uncle Allan MacDonald (Lisa), aunt Heather MacDonald (Don) and other various relatives and friends.
