Leona,Barb,Heather,Krista and the Lenius Families,
So sorry to read of Rodney’s passing. My sisters and I rented the house beside Adam and Do for many years and watched the Lenius kids grow up. Such a close, fun, loving family and we were always made to feel welcome in their home. Rod,like all the kids, grew up into a fine person and will be dearly missed by you all. Treasure your memories and know that he is at peace now. Sincerely, Jean Cameron-nee Clark( one of Adam’s three J’s-he always remembered the names but didn’t always have the right name to the right person) Take care

We were so sad to hear of Rod’s death. It was your entire family that welcomed us when we bought our cottage at Lumsden Beach and we continue to consider you all as very special friends. We still miss Do and Adam – how many times we stopped at the cottage (and their home in Regina) for a visit which usually included tea or a meal!
Rod and our son Mark became great beach friends. In June we had a long conversation which was much appreciated when Rod called to let us know why he and Krista had not come to Myron’s 85th birthday celebration – he was in treatment and could not take the risk of being with so many people. We talked of many memories of our and your family and he reminded Myron that the first time he (Rod) water skied was behind our small aluminum boat, pretty amazing as it was a 20 HP motor!! Myron thinks he was about 10 years old.
He was a kind thoughtful man and so proud of all of his family and we can’t even imagine how you will all miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Our favourite memory of Rodney was at Lumsden Beach. Our cottage,Coralita, is located across from their cottage. Stan and I would enjoy an early morning coffee out on our patio. Rodney, sometimes accompanied by Aidan, would join us for coffee and a visit. Often as not it was just Rodney and Stan contemplating life.
Rodney will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Hugs to all the Lenius family from the Stan Clements family in Lethbridge.

Heather, Leona, and Barb, Sorry for the loss of your brother. Rodney was like a brother to me as we were like family. Good times at the home and cottage.
Rodney would smile and shake his head at our laughing and craziness.
Gone too early but knowing you are at Peace now.
Condolences to Krista and Family.

Krista and family. We were so very sad to hear of Rod’s passing. From the little boy that had such an arm and could throw rocks at the lake to the husband, father and papa he became, we travelled much of that journey with him. At a young age Rod and Barb became friends with Tim and I. Little did we know the young kids that hung around at our cottage would continue to be friends as adults. I felt so blessed for the day Tim taught Rod to drive the boat so I did not have to take them water skiing anymore. They were ski buddies from that day on. We have many happy memories of Rod and he will be forever in our hearts. May you find peace in your wonderful memories as well.
Love Tim and Brenda

Bo (and the whole Lenius family) was one of my first friends. Our birthdays were only two days apart, and he never let me forget that he was always older than me. We all ran through the neighbourhood as one large troop (often to the detriment of my allergies), playing in the alleys and in the basement, making potions and anything else we could think of. I'm pretty sure it was either Rod, Barb, or Heather who taught me how to ride a bike. I know it was Rod who taught me how to play pinball at the place on the corner.
Going to the beach as part of the gang was always special, and Auntie Do always ensured that we were all 'threatened' equally with the 'wooden spoon' and washed in the washtub. Sunflower seeds, iced tea, and freezies bought from found bottles were the days that true friendships were formed.
Krista and family, you have lost a good friend, as have we all.

Rod was a good man, he will missed by friends and family alike. As a co-worker I can say he worked his butt off and was not afraid to express his opinion. His candor and willingness to help others was always appreciated.
My condolences to the Lenius Family and Rod's many friends.
