Obituary of Georgina Danylczuk

GEORGINA DANYLCZUK

On Tuesday, August 13, 2024, Georgina Danylczuk passed away at the age of 91 surrounded by her family.  Georgina was predeceased by her husband Frank (1962); parents Constantine and Eugenia Peslari; and brothers John and Steve. She is survived by her daughters Sharon (Ken) Lowe, Linda Montanini, Marlene (Darrell) Kayter and Elaine Emperingham; as well as grandchildren Cassi (Marc) Tremblay, Carli (Shane) Frischholz and Matteo Montanini; and her great-grandson Logan Frischholz.  Georgina is also survived by her siblings Helen Gavinchuk, George (Joan) Peslari, Mary (Mervin) Trithart as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to the nursing staff on Unit 5E at the Regina General Hospital for the excellent care provided to Georgina.  Georgina’s family especially wants to thank Donna Davies, mom’s very good friend for many years, for visiting mom in the hospital as well as her advice and assistance in the preparations for the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke, Canadian Cancer Society or the Eye Clinic at Pasqua Hospital.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at St. George Orthodox Cathedral, 2005 Edgar Street, Regina, SK with Fr. Cristian Frunzulica officiating.  Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park.
