Obituary of Pauline Mireau

Please share a memory of Pauline to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Pauline Mireau Pauline passed away suddenly on September 28, 2016 in her suite at College Park. She was born in Cabri, Saskatchewan to Albert and Caroline Kalbfleisch on April 26, 1920. Pauline is predeceased by her husband Lorne; siblings Bud Kalbfleisch, Francis Gray, Helen Meier, Mina Curry; her nephew James Curry and niece and son-in-law Cheryl and Ken Reed. Left to cherish her memory and admire her tenacity are many nieces and nephews; her brother-in-law Dave Meier; her great niece Rocky (Pat) Stochmal and her great nephew Kirk (Christy) Reed, as well as many close friends. Pauline graduated from beauty school in 1940, and beauty remained her lifelong passion. She always looked exceptional and smelled terrific. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, travelling and had a love for birds (not pigeons) and flowers. She loved animals, especially dogs, and enjoyed telling stories of her beloved black Cocker Spaniel. She was very artistic, and the desire for one of her paintings may even create a family feud! Pauline was quick to smile, laughed easily, liked a good joke, enjoyed hugs, was sharp as a tack and seemed forever young. In lieu of flowers, we ask you to curl your hair and put on some makeup and look your best, because that’s what Pauline would want. Her wishes were for no service.
