Obituary of Melody Anne Langemann

It is with sadness that the family of Melody Anne Langemann announces her passing on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at the age of 59 years. Mel is lovingly remembered by her spouse Chuck Padfield; stepson Carson; sisters-in-law Heather Padfield, Hazel Padfield and Cheryl (Larry) Bryan; brother-in-law Don Padfield; as well as nieces and nephews.

Mel was born in Toronto, ON and resided in Niagara Falls. She then moved to Western Canada, first living in Vancouver, BC, and the last 20 years in Saskatchewan living  in Estevan, Yellow Grass, Macoun, Swift Current and Regina.

Mel was diagnosed with cancer in April 2024. She was optimistic that she was going to beat it and get most of her eyesight back, but that was not to be. She passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side.

As per Mel’s wishes, a Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southwest Crisis Service, www.swcrisis.ca or SOFIA House www.sofiahouse.ca.
