Obituary of Victoria Renner

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Victoria Renner, after a sudden decline in health, on Monday, July 8, 2024 at the age of 87 years.

Victoria was predeceased by her parents Christopher Trumbley and Elise Nabess; first husband Alston Wynandts; second husband Oswald “Ozzie” Renner; sons Tim and Mark; daughter-in-law Mary; granddaughter Kelly; and siblings Charles “Smokey” (Flo), Peter (Dot), Joyce (Dick), Joe (Diane), Phyllis, Rose Marie, Chris (Joyce), Bob (Lee), Gladys (Jack), and Kenneth.

Left to cherish Victoria’s memory is her son Darryl (Shelley); daughter-in-law Lavaughn; grandchildren Mike, Crystal (Tracy), Jeff (Sharon), Greg, Caleigh, Lisa (Mike) and Mitch (Allie); great-grandchildren Alyssa, Steven, Cameron, Tyler, Autumn, Lily, Logan, McKenzie, Jaxon, Isabel, Silas, and Kolten; sisters-in-law Annie and Imogene; special friend Flo Shaver; as well as many nieces, nephews, and the many friends she made along the way.

Vicki was a force to be reckoned with. Her strength and independence certainly were in the forefront. She called it as she saw it and didn’t hold back. Vicki worked hard her whole life and it paid off in the end. Her work ethic was second to none and is instilled in all of her family. Vicki really enjoyed her retirement, with trips to B.C. and south to Texas. A treat to herself was having her hair done every Friday, and going to church on Sundays while wearing a Blue Bombers jersey or jacket.

Vicki’s saying, with all that was going on in the last couple years, “this too shall pass.” Celebrate the life she had and cherish the memories she made.

At Vicki’s request, there will be no funeral service. A Private Family Interment will be held at a later date.

A sincere Thank You to all the staff in the Pasqua Palliative Care unit (3A) and to the staff in 3B, prior to move to Palliative Care.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Vicki’s memory.
