So sorry to hear of Ed's passing. My condolences to Darlene and family. Years ago we had much fun playing baseball and partying in the Dilke area. It was always fun being around Ed. I was always jealous of how he could talk like Donald Duck. Rest in peace Ed.
Darlene and Family. My heart skipped a beat when I heard of Ed’s passing. I have so many great memories of Ed working in the Bingo Halls. It wasn’t that long ago he stopped in at the Co-op and we had a visit in one of the isles. Always laughing and happy, that was the Ed I knew.

Ed was one of my best friends, and we shared many great times together. My favorite memory with Ed was when we were fishing on Long Lake. Suddenly, the ice heaved and cracked open, shooting water about five feet into the air. We dropped our fishing rods and ran. I had no idea Ed, with his short little legs, could run that fast. I really miss him and am so grateful for the time we spent together. See you at the next fishing hole, Ed. Save some big ones for me.

Cousin Ed was gifted with a sense of humour. He could always make those around him laugh. I also remember how he loved to dance. He is likely jiving with his sister Lillian in heaven. Ed was one of the best. Loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. Hugs to Darlene and family.
My older brother and I shared a multigrade classroom with fellow classmate Edward after he moved to town from Kenockee School in 1952. I remember Ed would twirl his hair as he contemplated problems he had to solve. I also remember him as being a very capable softball coach for our team, the Dilke Comets. My sympathy for their loss goes out to Darlene and her daughters Darla and Janelle
It was a privilege to grow up a few doors down from Ed he was a great guy. I remember getting to spend some days on the lake with Ed doing one of the things he loved, ice fishing on last mountain lake. Janelle, Darla, Darlene and family im sorry for your loss.
