It is with sadness that the Melvin’s family announces his passing on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at the age of 57 years.  Melvin is survived by his wife Nadine Kaisowatum; children Hannalor Lavallee, Ashley Lavallee, Wendell Kaisowatum and Nathaniel Kaisowatum; siblings Leon Kaisowatum and Leona Kaisowatum; as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Daniel Kaisowatum; parents George and Irene Kaisowatum; grandparents John and Mary Louise Rockthunder and Pius and Minnie Kaisowatum; and siblings Preston Kaisowatum and Yvette Kaisowatum.

Visitation and Prayers will be held from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Paragon Funeral Services, 521 Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK.  A Graveside Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 20, 2024 at the Piapot Main Cemetery, Piapot First Nation, SK.
