Obituary of Dorothy Graham

Dorothy Margaret Graham Sept. 2, 1932 – Sept. 25, 2016 Dorothy passed away peacefully at the Pasqua Hospital on the morning of September 25, 2016 with family by her side. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her family: daughter Christine (Robert), son John (Patti), son Cal (Linda); eight grandchildren: Kevin, Trevor (Michelle), J.J., Courtney and their mother Paulette, Tyler (Sharla), Jason (Sarah), Jo-Anna (Anthony), Megan (Kyle); eight great-grandchildren: Madison, Parker, Dominic, Hunter, Emily, Erica, Dominick and Derek. Dorothy will also be missed by her brother Doug Ellis and his family as well as Wayne and Flora Hamilton and other family and friends. Mom was born in Regina, SK and enjoyed many years as a flower designer, including designing the flowers for a number of family weddings. She also enjoyed baking and you were always guaranteed some great baking at Christmas time. Her other passions were reading romance novels and spending many hours watching her old classic movies. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Franko and all the nursing staff from 4A and 2D at the Pasqua Hospital for their wonderful care they provided and the compassion they showed for our mother. As well, we would like to thank the staff at Parkside Extendicare. Although her stay was short, we appreciate the care you provided. As per Dorothy’s request there will be no formal funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of their choice.
