Obituary of Evelyn Marguerite Gay

It is with sadness that the family of Evelyn Gay announces her peaceful passing on March 30, 2024 at the age of 92 years.

Evelyn leaves a legacy of an active life guided by an adventurous spirit. Her memory will be treasured by her family, friends, and her faith community.

Evelyn was predeceased by husband, Robert, in July, 2011. She was also predeceased by her parents, Herbert Beatty Hugh Reid and Eva Mae Wood; brother Clifford Reid and his wife Audrey; sister-in-law Velma Reid, her brother Allan Herbert Reid; and brother-in-law Robert Victor Keith.

Left to cherish Evelyn's memory are her children Linda (Paul) Meyer, Gordon Gay (Sherry Straub), Eric Gay (Linda Zorn) and Mark Gay (Mark Macdonald); three grandsons Brandon Gay, Jordan Gay (Jessica Johnson) and Jeremy Meyer (Brianna Meyer); and three great-grandchildren Danica Gay, Cale Gay, and Paxton Meyer.

A Memorial Service for Evelyn will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Knox-Metropolitan United Church, 2340 Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Regina Anti-Poverty Ministry, 2330 Victoria Avenue, Regina, S4P 0S6.
