Obituary of Anne Francis Ell

Anne Francis (nee FOLK) passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the age of 95. Anne was born in Holdfast, SK to Anton and Adeline (nee Selinger) Folk on December 24, 1928, and was the last surviving of 10 children in their family.

Anne was predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years, Frank, on October 26, 2006. She was also predeceased by her parents Anton and Adeline; brothers Clem, Albert, Leo and Joseph; sisters Katherine Bast, Pauline Holzer, Agatha Wollbaum, Helen Fahlman and Mary Sali.

Anne will be missed by her three children, Larry (Sandi) of Regina, Murray (Donna) of Saskatoon and Sharon (Scott) of Wynyard, SK; five grandchildren, Nicole Cross (Branden), Michelle Ell, Tianna Ell (Ryan), Tanner Remenda, and Blake Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Madisyn and Jaxxon Cross; sisters-in-law Irene Ell, Florence Ell, Laura Ell and Doreen Ell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

A special thank you to all the nephews and nieces for the love and compassion they showed their Aunt Annie. Anne was a kind, caring and giving person at heart. She had a great love for people and was loved in return. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff and nurses of Wynyard Golden Acres. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Holy Cross R.C. Parish, 315 Douglas Avenue East, Regina, SK. Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice in Anne’s memory.
