My condolences to Val's family. I had the good fortune of meeting Val when we both were employed at STI at Moose Jaw in the early seventies. We commuted together for several winters. Val was always pleasant, obliging and chipper even in the early dark winter mornings. I am sorry to have lost contact with Val and his family.
