Roberta Josephine “Shirley” Perras passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. 

Shirley Perras was born in Rosetown, SK. She graduated from Regina General Nursing School in 1960.  Shirley met Dad in 1959 and they married in 1962.

Shirley is survived by her husband Norman; daughter Gloria (Bob) and their children Kyle, Roberta, Samantha, Andrew and Patrick; son Rick (Wanda) and their children Curtis and Tristan; daughter Colette; son Keith; brother Jim (Val); sisters Judy, Lynda (Tom) Pat (Bob), sister in law Anita; and brother-in-Law Oliver (Agnes). She was predeceased by her parents William and Minerva; sisters Bea and Myrna; and brothers Doug and Donnie.

Mom loved sports, a passion she shared with Dad and the whole family. Mom and Dad often took in Regina Pats games early in their relationship, and to the very end Dad would take her out for an afternoon of hockey when they could. She was an avid Roughriders, Blue Jays and Curling fan. 

Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Holy Cross R.C. Church, 315 Douglas Avenue East, Regina, SK.  Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens. 

We would like to thank the staff at Parkside Special Care Home, South Wing for their care and support for mom through the years.
