I have known Della since I was 13. She was my bridesmaid. I was her bridesmaid. We kept in touch for years, as we were busy raising our families. Tonight I was told she passed away. My heart is broken. She was the kindest and sweetest person ever. I send love to her family. I believe she was born with a heart of gold. We both loved Christmas. We both collected hallmark ornaments. We laughed together. We cried together. We loved our dogs, who were like our children. When she had her daughter, she called me, and was ecstatic. When I was her bridesmaid, I was overjoyed at her love for Rick. I cannot believe she is gone, but I know she is in heaven. I know she will watch over all of us.
