On January 20, 2024, Delbert left us to begin his journey home with our ancestors. He was predeceased by his wife Joyce Nanaquawetung; mother Emily Anaskan; father Theodore Pelletier; sister Lisa Pelletier; son Waylon Nanaquawetung; daughters Sherri Toto and Jessie Nanaquawetung. Delbert is survived by his children Byron (Colleen), George, Sophie, Ginger, Tessi (Mitch), Sonny (Lesley) and Destiny; sisters Lorraine Anaskan, Cecilia Baptiste and Minnie (Kat); brothers Dexter Anaskan, Maynard Anaskan, Robert Anaskan (Laura); special grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; special friend Lil Jon; as well as numerous aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
His smile, love, humor and amazing kindness will be missed by many..

Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Piapot Band Hall, Piapot First Nation, SK. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at the same location.
