Obituary of Joyce Shirley Johnson

It is with great sadness and many broken hearts that we announce the passing of our amazing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Joyce Shirley Johnson passed away peacefully at the age of 87 in Regina on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, surrounded by her family and much love.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Patti (Dave); sons, Brent (Cecilia) and Blaine (Cheryle); grandchildren, Jasmine (Tait), Christopher (Kaila), Derek (Kassie), Amanda, Kayla (Kyle), and Jesse (Clay); and great-grandchildren, Kenya, Kinsley, Cohen, Zayne, Charlotte, Jackson, Leo, Reese, Isabella, Lorelei, and Lukas. Joyce was predeceased by her husband and soulmate, Lloyd; parents John and Mary Hominiuk; one older step-sister; five older brothers; and two younger sisters.

A private Celebration of Joyce’s Life will take place in accordance with her wishes. Mom, your determination, grace, and adventurous spirit will always be an inspiration to us.
