Obituary of Richard Ivan William Gibson

It is with sadness that the family of Rick Gibson announce his passing on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at the age of 64 years.  Rick is survived by his three children and their families: Aaron (Alicia) Rodgers and their sons Aiden and Ashton; Nathan (Jennifer) Rodgers and their sons Elliott and Thomas; and daughter Rebecca Terry. He will also be lovingly missed by his sister Holly (John) Antonick and their son Cory; and brother Randy Gibson. Rick will be dearly missed by his very dear friend Jamie Myers and his family, Jamie and Rick were like brothers and were always there for each other.  He will also be missed and remembered by his second family at NAPA Auto Parts, Rick worked there for many years and Napa, and all his customers and friends, he made along the way were his life. Rick will also be missed by his friends he made racing, Rick just loved car racing and putting the time into his car with help of friends and other racing enthusiasts. He will be fondly remembered by many other relatives and friends.

Rick was predeceased by his parents Ivan and Daisy Gibson, grandparents and many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rick may be made to a charity of your choice.
