Obituary of Glenn Hanson

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Glenn Hanson on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at the age of 66 years.

Glenn will be lovingly cherished by his siblings Linda (Russell) Bill of Calgary, AB, Torinda (Ted) Geenen of Humboldt, SK, Greg (Karen) of Martensville, SK, Therese Nemeth of Regina, SK, Scott (Jenny Jin) of Estevan, SK; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who lovingly called him “Uncle Grump”; and his wonderful friends, Darryl and Lorna Garten of Estevan, SK. He was predeceased by his parents, who are waiting to welcome him home again; and his brother-in-law George Nemeth.

Glenn will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him, for his laughter, his love for his family and his kindness. He was a humble man, who enjoyed the simple things life had to offer. It was the little things that mattered the most; a hug, a handshake, or a smile.

A Celebration of Glenn’s Life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank STARS and the doctors and nurses of ICU Pasqua Hospital. Their kindness and compassion for our brother has made this difficult time more bearable.
