Obituary of Donald James Rae

Don Rae, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 67 on October 28, 2023, surrounded by family and friends, after a courageous battle with frontotemporal dementia. 

Don is survived by his wife, June; daughter, Stephanie, her husband, Devin Closson, and their children Jaxon and Sophia; and his son, James. Don took great pride in his role as a husband, father and grandfather, always eager to share his wisdom, guidance, and affection with his family.

Don’s greatest passion was his love for Audio Warehouse and the supporters of it.  His children and the Audio Warehouse family will continue to carry on his vision and legacy, ensuring that his love for the business lives on.

Don Rae was a one-of-a-kind individual, whose generosity and thoughtfulness were unparalleled. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him, but his memory will live on in the stories, the music, the cars, and the kindness he shared with the world.

Please join us on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Audio Warehouse, 1329 Lorne Street from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for a casual come and go celebration, where we can visit and share our best memories of Don.
