Obituary of Betty Huber

Please share a memory of Betty to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Elizabeth Anne "Betty" Huber passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the age of 91. Betty was born on March 29,1932 to Gilbert and Kate Peterson in Estevan, SK. She was the youngest of seven siblings, with her being the last one to pass away.

Betty is lovingly remembered by her children, Gywn (Charlie) Bourassa, Pat (Brenda) Ogilvie and Lori (Dwayne) Zimmer. She was an amazing grandma to many grandchildren; she was also a special aunt and a wonderful friend. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Ernie, in 2012; son, Robert; grandson, Shawn; and granddaughter, Rhonda.

Betty lived in Regina throughout her life. She moved to Melville in 2019 to be closer to her daughter, Lori. She was a resident of St. Paul's Lutheran Home since 2021.

Betty was a strong-willed lady who has had some tough challenges in her health due to mobility.  She was very well taken care of at St. Paul's, which we are very grateful for. We would like to thank all the staff at this home. Betty will miss you all.

As per Betty's wishes, there will be NO FUNERAL SERVICE, but there will be a graveside service in which we will celebrate her.

Please join us at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina, SK to say our final goodbyes.
