Obituary of Marjorie Irene Bloomfield

Please share a memory of Marjorie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with sadness that Marjorie’s family announces her passing on Saturday, August 26, 2023.   Predeceased by her son Glenn; husband Kenneth; parents James and Jean; sister Kathleen Mae; and twin sister Jean in infancy.

Marjorie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Lynne (Brian), Lynne's daughter Stephanie (Jeff) and son Kaelin, and Lynne's son Michael (Courtney) and their children Luka and Ruby; her son Richard; her daughter Dana (Rick), their daughter Sherry (Chris) and their children Emily, Mason and Landon, and their son Randy (Kristin) and their daughter Iyla.   She is also survived by her nephew Robb and nieces Kathy and Heather.

Marjorie was born in Regina.   She loved her family dearly, and enjoyed cooking large dinners for the whole family.    During her high school years, she attended school for half a day at Balfour Tech, and worked as a secretary during the other half.   Marjorie stopped working and remained at home until her youngest daughter was nine years old.    The company she worked for during her school years contacted her and asked if she was able to return to work, which she did with great pride.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023 at First Baptist Church, 2241 Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK with Pastor Joel Russel-McLean officiating.    The family wishes to thank the staff of Marie Manor for their kind and compassionate care for Mom during her years there.   In lieu of flowers, those so wishing, may make memorial donations to the Regina Humane Society or the North Central Family Centre.
