David Surendra Ramnaraine David passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Pasqua Hospital at the age of 59 years. David is survived by his wife, Sherry; parents, Daniel and Eunice Ramnaraine; son and daughter-in-law, Annal (Nadia) Ramnaraine; daughter and son-in-law, Alysha (Corey) Wilker; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa (Jason) Munroe; grandchildren, Noah, Ivy, Seamus, Sadie and Lochlainn; 5 sisters; 1 brother; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. David was born on August 28, 1956 in Guyana and came to Canada in 1977. Dave and his family came to Regina in 1994 to pursue a career as an entrepreneur at Ross Food Centre, which he owned and operated for 22 years. During this time he became a member of the Eastview Community Association, Regina Sailing Club and the Saskatchewan Canadian Caribbean Association. He was devoted to his loving family and committed to all he was involved in. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1909 Ottawa St., Regina, SK. Donations in David’s name may be made to SCCA - Saskatchewan Canadian Caribbean Association Box 996, Regina, SK, S4P 3B2. Your Spirit and Legacy will live on through all the lives you have touched.
