Obituary of Tyson Shawn Noname
Tyson Shawn Noname was called home by our Creator on Monday, August 14, 2023 at the age of 43 years. He was born on September 23, 1980 at Regina General Hospital, Regina, SK.
Tyson was kindhearted, loving and caring, and he had a good heart. He was funny and joyful around everyone he met. Tyson was friendly and easy going. He put a smith on everyone’s face, made you laugh and feel loved, just by walking into the room.
Tyson enjoyed riding his bike, walking and shopping (dressing himself to the tee). He liked going to powwows, round dances and other ceremonies. Tyson loved his music and watching movies. He cherished his best friends. Most of all, Tyson prized the time he got to spend with his mother, sister and all his family/relatives that he cared for.
Tyson attended Jack James Highschool in Calgary, AB, where he took up carpentry. He worked as a prep cook at various restaurants in Calgary. He sure loved to cook.
Tyson is survived, and sadly missed, by his mother, Pauline “Wanda” Noname; sisters, Tanya Noname and Candice Noname; nephews, Samer, Tyrone and Xavier; uncle, Marvin Noname; aunts, Lorraine Noname and Diane Kaiswatum of Piapot First Nation, SK; as well as numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his dad, Richard Stimson; grandmother, Mary Noname; grandfather, Lawrence Noname; and numerous uncles and aunties.
Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Piapot Band Hall, Piapot First Nation, SK. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at the same location with elders officiating and interment to follow at Piapot Main Cemetery, Piapot First Nation, SK.
