Obituary of Laura Lee Noname

Laura Lee Noname “Kahkiyew Wahtisht Kisikoo Eskwew: (Kind Sky Woman) Laura Lee Noname (November 26, 1962 – August 20, 2016) was called home to the spirit world on August 20, 2016. Predeceased by her father Lawrence Roderick Noname and her sister Charlene Noname, Laura is survived by her mother Mary Ann Noname; sisters Diane Kaiswatum, Lorraine Noname, Wanda Noname and brother Marvin Noname; her children Tara Bird (Pat) and Marlee Noname, Dayna Noname and Gerald Johnson/Noname; six grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. A Traditional Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 and the Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the Piapot First Nations Band Hall with Elders officiating.
