Obituary of Som Maya Rai

It is with sadness that the family of Som Maya Rai announce her passing on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at the age of 89 years at Pasqua Hospital, Regina, SK. She was born in Bhutan and moved to Canada on October 12, 2012 with her son, daughter-in-law and a couple of grandchildren. Som is the mother of seven kids. Presently, they are all scattered around the world, because of their own reasons and situations. As every family member will remember her forever. Som was a great loving mother, grandmother and family leader. We family will miss you and remember you forever, Koma. Rest in peace.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Whitmore Park Community Church, 41 Birchwood Road, Regina, SK. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina, SK.
