Obituary of Wayne Richard Louis Papp

It is with profound sadness that the family of Wayne Papp announce his sudden passing on Tuesday June 20, 2023 at the age of 79 years.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife Dorothy; children Wayne Jr, Shaylyn and Darrin; grandchildren Dustin, Brianna, Tyler, Ashley, and Dylan; and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers George and Ron (Dolly).

Wayne was predeceased by his daughter Lisa; parents Joe and Wilma Papp; and sister Shirley.

At Wayne's request there will be no funeral. There will be a celebration of Wayne's life at a later date.

Wayne's lifelong career was in the sign business since 1966. He was the owner of Papp Signs & Exhibits. Wayne was a sign artiste extraordinaire and truly loved what he did. He even worked the day of his passing. Over the years, Wayne developed a close relationship with all his customers and colleagues.

Wayne’s hobbies included fishing and golf. But his true passion was motorcycle riding. Wayne formed a group of motorcycle enthusiasts and they called themselves the Mild Hogs. They traveled all over Western Canada and the Western United States creating everlasting memories.
