Obituary of David Anthony Lamontagne

Please share a memory of David to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

David Lamontagne passed away peacefully surrounded by family he laughed with, lived for and loved on Monday June 12, 2023 at the age of 46 years.

David met the love of his life, Michelle in 1995. David and Michelle had a strong bond that could never be broken. It was truly unconditional. They welcomed their daughter Sophie in 2007, Anabelle in 2010 and son Jacob in 2011.

David believed life should be lived in order of importance: God, family, work. David had a strong faith and led his family in the ways of the Lord. David loved his family immensely, his three children were so special to him. They were lovingly nicknamed Bunny, Bear and Israel. They will dearly miss their father. David loved to have family gatherings all the time. It was a special time to enjoy good food and company. David had a great sense of humor and always had everyone laughing. He was usually the life of the party.

David was self-employed as a carpenter. He took great pride in his work. He was a perfectionist and always put all his effort into every job he did. He created many beautiful works of art.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to David. He had the ability to find the positive in every situation. His easy going and friendly personality was contagious to everyone he met.
We are sad because he is no longer with us on this earth, but we know with all of our hearts that he is smiling down on us from heaven.

David was predeceased by his father Tony N. Lamontagne; father-in-law Sebastian Merk and uncle Ralph Baynes; grandparents Anna-Marie Lafferty and Michael Blondeau; Blanche and Martin Jarocki; and god-parent Doreen MacDonald.

David is lovingly cherished by his wife, Michelle and three children Sophie, Anabelle and Jacob; parents Emily and Andre Jarocki; mother-in-law Claudette Castanger (John); sister Dana Tessier (Marc), and children Meagan, Danielle and Darrin; sister Anna Jarocki; brother Joel Jarocki (Chantelle) and children Nevaeh, Noah, Jayce and Caleb; brother Andre Jarocki and daughter Emelia; brother Mark Jarocki; brother-in-law Michael Merk (Dustyn) and children Aria and Asher; god-parent Mike Dagnone; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
