Obituary of Robert Meyer

Robert Meyer, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at the age of 92. Bob passed with his family at his side and has gone to join the great love of his life, his wife of 67 years, Ann. Bob enjoyed his family and friends immensely, whether it was events at their acreage, travelling the world with their antique car collection, or just taking time for a coffee, visiting and storytelling.  He retired after a fulfilling career as Captain of the Regina Fire Department.  Bob was predeceased by beloved wife Ann Meyer and his granddaughter Janelle Meyer, Bob leaves to celebrate his life; his children: Margo (Ron) Tyrer, Bob (Gail) Meyer, Brent (Brenda) Meyer, Monica (Kim) Wall, Mark (Shannon Rains) Meyer, Andrea (James) Jeffery, Susan (Brent Bartlett) Meyer; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  He will be fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law Pat (Ron) Odishaw, Gloria Florek and Phyllis Tomchuk and brother-in-law Jack (Betty) Tomchuk as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A gathering to celebrate Bob’s life will be held at the family acreage on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
