Obituary of George Michael Cleveland

Please share a memory of George to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

George Michael Cleveland
September 3, 1943 – May 17, 2023

George, husband, father, brother, uncle, and always a cowboy. George was always busy on the farm, whether doing his own chores or helping others, from changing a tire to helping with baling. Whenever you needed help, he would always lend a hand.

Throughout his life, George worked as an ironworker, drove a truck for Kindersley Transport and drove for Capital Cab in Regina.

George’s real passion was animals, especially horses. George participated in gymkhana as a rider; he sat on the board of directors and as a judge. During this time, he received the nickname “Jingles.” George could be heard trotting across the arena, picking up cowboy hats. It is yet to be known if he knew what all those keys were for.

George has taken his last ride. He will be met by his mom Marie; dad, Ruppert; brothers Howard and Lenard; and nephew Garth.

One day we will meet again, with stories to tell and memories to share. Until then, our memories of you will be near and always shared.

Love Brenda, Billy Joe (Dean), Michael (Brittany), Amanda (Kris), Mavis (Bill), twin sister Georgina, Donald, Clarence (Debbie), Morley, Margaret (Brian), Marilyn, and many nieces and nephews.
