Obituary of Albert Joseph Chasse

Please share a memory of Albert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Albert passed away peacefully at the Pasqua Hospital on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the age of 91.

Albert leaves to cherish his memory his sons Brian and Greg (Donna); grandchildren Bonnie (Brian), Jeremy (Amanda) and Jeffrey (Colette); great-granddaughter Syerra; cousin (sister) Marion Switzer; as well as many nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Mona; parents Joseph and Ida Chasse; and all his siblings.

Albert was born and raised in Oak Lake, MB where he met the love of his life Mona (nee Daniel). He married Mona in 1955 and worked for CP Rail until they moved to Indian Head in 1960. Albert worked for several different companies over his career, owned his own plumbing/heating company and Texaco Bulk Dealership. He ended his career working for the Shell Bulk Dealership where he delivered fuel to customers around the area. Albert especially enjoyed this as he loved to visit, and this gave him the perfect opportunity. He loved to tell stories, and to joke and always had a smile for everyone. Albert loved sports, especially baseball, golf and hockey. He even achieved a hole in one at the Indian Head Golf course in 2001.

At Albert's request, there will be no funeral service. A private graveside service for his immediate family will be held at a later date.
