Obituary of Ingeborg Loewenhardt

It is with great sadness that the family of Ingeborg Loewenhardt announces her passing on Thursday, April 13, 2023.

Ingeborg was born in Berlin, Germany. She married Gunter Loewenhardt in 1948 and together they immigrated to Canada in 1954. They raised three children and started Loewenhardt Construction Ltd., where she worked as the secretary and bookkeeper.

Ingeborg is lovingly remembered by her partner Brent Bryan; children Jörg (Heather) Loewenhardt, Esther (Andy) Vanderveer and Peter (Angie) Loewenhardt; grandchildren Jolene Loewenhardt, Tyler Loewenhardt, Steven (Sarah) Vanderveer, Kurt (Nicolette) Vanderveer, William Loewenhardt and Rachael Loewenhardt; and two great grandchildren, Mia Carranza and Isaac Vanderveer. Ingeborg was predeceased by her husband Gunter Loewenhardt; and twin sister Eva Gallagher.

Ingeborg was a beautiful person inside and out. She cared very deeply for the people around her. Ingeborg was kind and passionate and made an impact on many lives. As the matriarch of the family, she will be forever missed.
