Sad news to read of Larry’s passing. He was a wonderful teacher and mentor. He was an inspiration to many SUNTEP staff & students. I fondly remember his stories and laughter. My thoughts and prayers are with all those feeling the loss of him.

Dawn and Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Larry was a wonderful man. I have many memories of your time in Qu'Appelle and when you would come back for a visit. I remember when we were building our home Larry came out to check out the progress, we sent him home with a piece of log so he could try a carving. He didn't think it would work but he was willing to give it a try. Then most recently the past couple of years when he drove all the way out here to bring "Misty" for hair do. We always had a great visit pre and post clip. I know his loss has created a giant hole in your lives, a hole that you will fall into off and on, use all the amazing memories you have to build a bridge across the hole. The hole will always be there, however with the bridge you can cross, remember and not fall in. My Deepest Sympathies, Jeannie DesRochers

Q: What will you never forget about Larry? A: When I first entered SUNTEP in 1993 in Regina, Larry was always full of inspirational talks and always guided me through the four years I was a student there. When things got tough we’d go chat with him and when I left his office I felt reassured I could continue my education. Larry was always laughing and full of jokes. He was an amazing man and I often think of him with a smile. I am sorry to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace! Mavis
