Obituary of Alan Terry Erwin

Our beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away peacefully late Friday, surrounded by the love of his family.

 

A lifelong professional driver, he put on many miles, but finally ran out of road. Al lived his life with integrity, and possessed an incredible sense of humour, which he held onto right to the end.

 

He was predeceased by his mother, Donna, in 2017, and is survived by daughters, Mandy (Greg) Burton and Lyndsay; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Gwendolyn, Lochlan, Xander, Adayah, Callum, Tristan and Avery; brothers, Gary (Doxsee) and Don; nephew, Daniel and grand-nephew, Dean.

 

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and support staff of the Medical Surveillance and Palliative Care units at the Regina Pasqua Hospital for the thoughtful and attentive care provided to Al during his final days.

 

The family will be holding a private remembrance for him at a later date.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Al’s name to the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital.
