Obituary of Thomas Donald Hurlburt

Thomas Donald Hurlburt February 26, 1936 - July 28, 2016 While Moms' song came on the radio, Dad left his daughters' side to join the love of his life for all eternity on Thursday July 28, 2016. Dad was born February 26,1936 to Jesse and Dorthea Hurlburt. Tom worked many years for the Income Tax Department as well as the Regina Exhibition Association making lifelong friends. He also volunteered at the Eye Center at the Pasqua and was a Scout Leader for many years. He liked strawberry ice cream, the Roughriders, Gordie Howe, travelling and entertaining friends and family. Tom is predeceased by his wife Marjorie (Dec 2014), sister and brother-in-law Audrey and Bill Isaac, sister Patsy and special cousin Sharon Amyotte. He is survived by his daughter Coleen (Graham) Gagne and his 4 grandchildren; his princess Amanda (Curtis) Nutbrown, and his three princes Austin Bali, Caleb Gagne, and Carter Gagne. Also his good friend who spent countless hours with him, Andy Pavlovsky. Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at St. James United Church, 4506 Sherwood Dr., Regina with Rev. Diane Robinson officiating. A very special thank you to the Unit 3-3 staff of the Wascana Rehabilitation Center for their compassionate care of Tom while he resided with them for the last 5 years. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Toms' good friend Don Crisp of Paragon Funeral Home.
