Obituary of Faron Mark Noname

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our nephew, father, brother and uncle on Thursday, March 8, 2023 at 46 years.

Faron had a big heart; he was always there for anyone who needed help. He would always put a smile on your face, make you laugh and make you feel loved, even just by walking into the room (anywhere). Faron would brighten everyone’s day.

Faron loved travelling around Canada and the U.S. He wanted to know more about his Cree culture. Faron loved riding his Moped around Calgary (he cherished his scooter). He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially close brothers and cousins at family BBQ’s.

Faron will be lovingly remembered by his common law partner Trenna Toto; children Marcus James, Alysha, Ashley Raine, Phoenix, Memphis and Lyle; stepchildren Niko and Tashina; sister Farrah; brother William Noname; uncle Marvin; aunties Lorraine, Diane and Wanda; as well as special cousins and numerous other family relatives and friends from both families. We apologize if we have missed anyone. Faron is survived by his uncles Mike and Martin Krywohyza; aunty Kathy Krywohyza and Laura Leclair.

Faron was predeceased by his father Faron Noname in 2012; mother Debra Noname (nee Brass) in 2020; brother Francis Noname; grandmothers Hazel Krywohyza and Mary Ann Noname; grandfathers Lawrence Noname and Allan McDonald; aunties Lydia Brass, Donna Brass and Stephanie Brass-Goforth.

Traditional Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Piapot Community Hall, Piapot First Nation, SK. Traditional Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the same location with Elders officiating. No children will be allowed. Just a reminder of Faron, all those who to attend to be respectful of Covid-19 protocols.
