Obituary of Chad Joseph Moran

It is with great sadness the family of Chad Joseph Moran announce his sudden passing on January 30, 2023 at the age of 43 years. He will forever be missed by his parents Russ and Maureen Moran; brother Chris Moran and his children Madison, MaKenzie, Mason, Hunter, Jacob, Ryder, Keegan, Brooklyn and Angel; sister Allison Moran (John Cyr) and their children Cheyanne, Israella, Kendall and Rylee; best friend “bro” Stan (Connie) Agecoutay; godparents Randy Moran and Sharon Nelson; grandmother Betty Nelson of Wetaskiwin, AB; and first great-niece Ariyah, born January 29, 2023. He was predeceased by his grandparents Joe and Irene Moran; grandfather Harold Nelson; uncle Doug Moran; cousin Bradley Moran; and childhood friend Jason Habinski.

Chad was born on February 19, 1979 in Regina, SK. He lived in the Eastview neighbourhood all his life. Chad attended St. Paul School, Haultain School and graduated from Balfour Collegiate. He never had children of his own, but treated his nieces and nephews like they were his own.

Celebration of Chad’s Life will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Speers Family Center Hall, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK.

To honour Chad, we ask for everyone to do one act of kindness, big or small, to friend of stranger. Chad was always ready and willing to help someone in need.
