Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Ivy, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 21, 2022.

Ivy is survived and lovingly remembered by her children Rick (Marilyn), Barry (Cindy), Debbie (Terry), Sherry, and Randy (Shannon); grandchildren Jenna (Bradley), Arielle, Erin, Joel (Michaela), Theresa, Shawn (Rhonda), Andrea (Scott), Eric, Matthew, Devin and Jason; great-grandchildren, Mason, Ashton, Nomi and Alaira; sisters Margaret and Beverly (Doug); and brothers Dennis and Rick. She was predeceased by her husband Wendell; grandson, Stefan special friend, Lou; her parents, Mike and Stella Monuik; sister Edna; and brothers Metro, Bill and Tony.

A strong, witty, elegant woman, Ivy loved her family dearly and was loved dearly back by her family. She was an excellent cook and parlayed that into a career. Ivy enjoyed weekly coffee time at the mall with her friends and was an avid bingo player and bowler, where she served as league secretary for a number of years.  Ivy also was a member of the Regina Eagles Club Ladies Auxiliary and served on the executive.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Christ Lutheran Church, 4825 Dewdney Avenue with Pastor Lynn Robertson officiating. A private family interment will be held in the spring.

The family would like to thank the staff of 5 Main at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, and Dr. Courtney and the nurses and staff who attended to Ivy at the Regina General Hospital Emergency for the excellent care she received.
