I was a runny-nose teen when I first glanced at 'Stone' sitting in Buddy's, didn't have a clue who he was. "Looks like a cop," I said to a runny-nose friend. I could see he had keen sense. We became acquainted and years later worked alongside each other, though not as cops. Barry was a sensible, down-to-earth, intelligent, stand-up guy.
Eventually, I met his charming wife Gail, a fair and tender lady. I'm sure Gail that you frequently turn, expecting to see Barry and find him gone. In dreams, he'll walk and talk with you. In dreams, he'll hold your hand and feel happy with you. In dreams Gail, Barry will forever stand by you.
My condolence.

I was sorry to learn of Barry's passing. My sincere sympathy to you Gail and Family. From the early days years ago when he boarded with my family, he became a part of our family very quickly. He was always polite, & considerate. He and you, Gail, always took time to visit my parents, shared memorable times and sad times. His life will live on in our hearts.

Sending sincere condolences to you Gail (sp?) and all the family. This was always one my favourite men to have coffee with. We always such spirited and uplifting conversations... especially when it was just the two of us. Barry was one of the very kindest, considerate and generous men I've known. He will be sadly missed. Praying for you!
