Obituary of Rosabella Regina Lorenz

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rosabella Regina Lorenz, after a sudden decline in health on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the age of 94.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Cheryl (Keith) and Shelley (Darryl); grandchildren Brandon (Michelle), Sean, Lisa (Mike), Mitch (Allie); great-grandchildren Gabriel, Evangeline, Isabel, Silas and Kolten; sister-in-law Florence; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Anton “Andy”; parents John and Rose Wittman; siblings Elizabeth, John, Evelyn (Pete), Georgina (Nick), Katie (Celestine), Frank, Ben (Linda), Lorraine (Tony) and Arty.

Bella was born in Vibank, SK.   She and Andy met at a dance, married two years later in 1950, and settled on the family farm.   Bella enjoyed her garden and tended it with care.  Her homemade bread was the best!   She was an awesome cook, and her dill pickles were enjoyed by all.   She will be missed and meant a lot to everyone.   Her phone chats will be missed by all.

We would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice for their care and support.

At Bella’s request, there will be no funeral service.   A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
