Obituary of Beatrice Vivian LaFramboise

We are sad to announce the passing of our dear mother, Beatrice “Kokum Bea” on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at the age of 83. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side.

Beatrice was predeceased by her parents Napolean and Annie Lavallee; brothers Richard in infancy, Alphonse, Eric, Andrew, Gabe, Victor and Lawrence; sisters Seraphine, Vitaline, Seraphine, Myrtle and Terry. She is also predeceased by her sons Leslie, Gilbert, Dana, Louie and Noel.

Beatrice is survived by her daughters Lynda (Gaylord Pelletier), Ursula “Star” (Bruce Andreas), son Rising Sun (Jolene); brother John Francis Lavallee (Sharon); and her adopted son’s Gerry Kaboni, Micheal Moosomin and Barry Standingready; and her chosen children Erisa Sheepskin and Tim Delorme. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Through her traditional beliefs she is also survived by her adopted families, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Wake will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 3, 2022 at the Indigenous Christian Fellowship, 3131 Dewdney Avenue, Regina with a feast on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. with Elder Archie Weenie officiating.
