Obituary of Linda Grace Murray

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Linda Grace Murray on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the age to 71, in the loving presence of family. Left to cherish her memory are her five children, Tammy Yulo (Peter), David Moon (Lynn Larson), Steven Moon (Rachel Ng), Jeffrey Moon (Melisa) and Ester Knight (Adam); grandchildren, Aaron Moon, Nicholas Manz (Maira), Ryan Moon, Tiffany Moon, Alaina Knight, Taliya Knight, Jayden Yulo, Elizabeth Moon, Jace Moon and Kaia Moon; and great-grandson Lucas Manz. Linda is also lovingly remembered by her siblings Julie Dick, Walter Murray, and Donna Swan. She will also be dearly missed by her lifelong friends Dan and Ruth Styles.

Linda was born in Edmonton, AB and grew up in Brandon, MB. Throughout her life she lived in many areas of Canada including Calgary, Grand Prairie, Dawson Creek, Regina, St. Catherines, Prince Albert and Edmonton before finally settling in Regina with close and loving support from Jeff and Ester in her final years.

Linda’s focus in life was always to help and support others. As a single mother of her five children, she achieved a Mount Royal education in Social Work – skills that she successfully applied in Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, and Prince Albert. Linda enjoyed various roles including director at Big Brothers in Regina and Emergency Room admitting clerk in various cities. She was always on the front lines to help wherever she could.

Linda was sustained throughout her life by a strong faith in God and is now at peace in the arms of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  She will be lovingly missed by all that knew her and whose lives she touched and changed.

The family would like to extend deepest gratitude for the exceptional care of Dr. Vanderlot and the amazing doctors and nurses at the Pasqua Hospital.
