My condolences to Ev’s family. I had to chuckle when I read that she was a “cleaning machine.” I worked with Ev in the ‘70’s and my fondest memory of her is her getting a pail of water and then proceeding to mix in bleach and a couple of other cleaning products. The toxic fumes would be billowing out of the pail and the rest of us would be running away. She was determined to kill every possible germ. It makes me laugh to this day. I really enjoyed my many years of working with her and meeting all her family. It was nice to visit with Art, Ev and the rest of your family when you came to shop at Cathedral Safeway.
