Obituary of Linda Therese Hubick
Linda Thérèse Hubick (née Grill) passed away peacefully on Monday, August 15, 2022, in Regina, SK, at the age of 61. She is survived by her son David (Shimona) Hubick; parents George Blacklaws and Lorraine Grill; siblings Marvin (Carol) Grill, Richard Grill, Kelly (Peter) Blacklaws, Brian (Sue) Blacklaws, Brenda (Gary) McKinnon, Cindy (Roger) Bernier, Jim (Christine) Blacklaws; numerous nieces and nephews; and a large extended family including Trudy (Wayne) Rutten and Stella (Al) Labbie. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Vivian Blacklaws and John Grill.
Linda was born in Drummondville, QC and grew up in Regina, SK. In 2000, she moved to Yellowknife, NWT for work and adventure at Canada’s first diamond mine, Ekati. In 2005, she moved to Brandon, MB and, in 2007, completed her Diploma in Business Administration. Always a whiz with numbers, she worked as an accountant. Linda loved spending time with her family and singing with them at gatherings.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Holy Cross RC Parish, 315 Douglas Avenue East, Regina, SK.
We would like to thank the staff at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre for all their warm and excellent care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.
