Obituary of Rose Mary Lang

Rose passed away peacefully on Monday, June 27, 2022 at the age of 86.

Rose will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters and two sons; Eleanor (Edward) Malinowski and their children Stacey, Danielle and Andrew; Robert (Donna) and their children Braden (Cassandra), Jarrett and Kelsy; Belinda (Elmer) Keller and their children Shane, Hayley and Jenny; Carol (Wendell) Gibbons; Scott (Kim) and their daughter Taylor; great-grandchildren Reed and Amora Keller. She is also survived by three sisters and a brother: Doreen Butz, Zena Robinson, Elsie (George) Roszell and Albert (Judy) Webster; sisters-in-law Dorothy Webster and Terry Webster; brother-in-law Joe Lang; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by her loving husband Frank; parents Albert and Eleanor (nee Moseley) Webster; and siblings Bob, Joan, Mac, and Jim.

Rose was born in Cadillac, SK, and grew up in Readlyn, SK before moving to Regina, SK to raise her family. Rose and Frank met at Regina’s Trianon Ball Room and fell in love. They celebrated 59 wonderful years together. Rose had a strong work ethic from a young age and continued to work until the spring of 2020 at the age of 84 years. She helped build a successful business, Glass Suppliers, with her husband Frank. The business was established in 1966 and continues to this day with their son Robert and grandson Shane. Throughout her life Rose enjoyed dancing with Frank, 10-pin bowling, cards with friends, country and polka music, ringing her cow bell at Rider games, sewing, camping and traveling with her family (especially to Disney and England), but her greatest love and pride was her family. From Sunday “Grandma’s soup” and Sunday dinners to the grandest of Christmas celebrations with lots of decorations, food, presents and good company, she made sure that their home was the hub of family life.

A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Paragon, 521 Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK. A Funeral Mass to celebrate her life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Holy Cross R.C. Parish, 315 Douglas Ave. E., Regina, SK.
