Dear Barbara and family,
I just read tonight about the passing of Mitri. Please accept the condolences of my wife, Heather, and I. I admired the work Mitri did over the decades to help educate Canadians about the reality facing Palestinians in their homeland and in particular his many letters to the editor and the books he authored. Regina has lost a very thoughtful resident and a very interesting personality.

I was so sorry to read of Mitri's passing this morning. Mitri was my Manager at South A&W many years ago in the 70's. I have very fond memories of the that time and the wonderful managers he and Mike were. I had not seen him for many years and last saw him on a walk home when the family lived on Castle Road as it was just a block to where I was. It was good to catch up at that time. Mitri was a lovely soul and my condolences go out to Barb and the rest of the family.
